The Houston Dynamo and Direct Energy have reached a long-term sponsorship agreement that will make Direct Energy an official partner of the Dynamo and BBVA Compass Stadium, it was announced today. Direct Energy will also serve as the official energy provider for the Dynamo and BBVA Compass Stadium.
“We are pleased to partner with one of North America’s largest retail electricity providers, Direct Energy, as the official energy provider for the Houston Dynamo,” said Dynamo Executive Vice President Steven Powell. “Direct Energy’s commitment to the community matches our own and we look forward to partnering with them on several key grassroots initiatives, including the Dynamo’s highly popular youth soccer loyalty initiative, MLS Futbolito, Dynamo Trials and the Dynamo Corporate Cup.”
Direct Energy is also the official presenting sponsor for the Sept. 6 home game between the Dynamo and Real Salt Lake.
