Houston Dynamo FC signed defenders Talen Maples and Micael Dos Santos Silva on short-term loans, the Club announced today.
Maples is a product of the Dynamo Academy and the Texas Native has captained Houston Dynamo 2 for the bulk of their inaugural MLS NEXT Pro campaign. The 23-year-old has also found the back of the net on three occasions this season and has started in 18 games.
Silva signed for Dynamo 2 on April 27 after nearly two years with Atlético Mineiro in his native Brazil. The center back won the 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro U-20 title and earned two appearances for the first team in league play. The 22-year-old has earned 12 starts with Dynamo 2 and scored the game-winner against Real Monarchs on May 25.
Both players will be eligible for selection for today’s match against Club de Foot Montreal at PNC Stadium.
