Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) announced partnerships with 10 local restaurants today as part of the recently publicized collaboration with world-renowned chef Hugo Ortega.
Ortega, who leads the match day culinary program at Shell Energy Stadium in collaboration with Levy, aimed to create a dining experience at the stadium that captures the eclectic flavors from Houston’s culinary community.

“I am excited to be a part of the wonderful enhancements at Shell Energy Stadium that will bring these Houston-inspired flavors to the venue as we cheer on our hometown team,” says Ortega. “I have played soccer most of my life and I know the feeling of scoring a goal and putting a team together. We are so honored to be part of the Club and have the incredible opportunity to enhance the fan experience as a team for our guests.”

Taquerias Arandas, a Houston staple since 1981, will also be featured at Shell Energy Stadium. With more than 25 locations in Houston the authentic Mexican food restaurant will serve some of their most popular tacos during Houston Dynamo and Dash matches.
Roegels Barbecue will bring its traditional Texas BBQ, smoked to perfection using post oak logs, on game days. Prime grade brisket and in-house made jalapeño cheese sausage will be on their menu. Owned and operated by Pitmaster Russell Roegels and his wife Misty, Roegels Barbecue is a homey venue for traditional Texas barbecue.
Owned and operated by University of Houston alum, Ronnie and Linda Nguyen, Roostar Vietnamese Grill is a visionary brand that serves custom banh mi sandwiches, alongside authentic noodle, and rice dishes in a festive environment reminiscent of the true Vietnamese street vendor scene.
Churrascos will bring the bold flavors of the Latin American parrilla along with all its fire and flair.. Fans will be able to savor Churrascos’ signature chimichurri marinated center-cut tenderloin and their famous tres leches cake at Shell Energy Stadium as they cheer on their hometown teams.
