The Houston Dynamo will face FC Tucson of the Premier Development League in a third-round matchup of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The game will be played on Wednesday, May 29 at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston. Kickoff for this match will be at 7:30 p.m.
This will be the first meeting between both clubs. FC Tucson advanced to the third round of the US Open Cup after defeating the San Antonio Scorpions tonight 4-3 on penalty kicks.

The 2013 U.S. Open Cup marks the 100th edition of the tournament that features clubs across several levels of the U.S. Soccer pyramid. This year, Major League Soccer clubs enter the tournament in the third round of the single-elimination tournament.
Should the Dynamo defeat FC Tucson, they will advance to the fourth round of the tournament, set for June 12. The possible fourth round opponent and venue are yet to be determined.
Houston has a 5-6-1 record all-time in the Open Cup. Their best finishes came in 2006 and 2009 when they advanced to the semifinals.
