he Houston Dynamo have loaned goalkeeper Tyler Deric to RGV FC for their match in Carson, Calif. tonight against LA Galaxy II, the club announced today.
This is Deric’s third loan stint with RGV FC this season. He was one of five Dynamo players loaned to RGV on April 6 and he earned the club’s first clean sheet of the season in a 0-0 draw with New Mexico United. The Dynamo Academy alumnus made his season debut with RGV on March 23 in a 2-2 draw against El Paso Locomotive FC.
RGV FC take a three-game unbeaten streak into tonight’s game, including wins in each of their last two outings. The 0-0 draw with New Mexico United kicked off the unbeaten run before the Toros picked up a 2-1 win at home over OKC Energy FC on April 13 and a 5-2 home win over the Las Vegas Lights on April 20. The Toros are 2-3-2 on the year and are just one point out of the playoffs at this early stage of the season.
