Wednesday’s 4-0 win at D.C. United matched the largest road win in club history, a 4-0 road triumph at Chicago on July 12, 2007. The win also continued Houston’s best ten-game start (6-2-2; 20 points) to a season in club history.

In addition to the team achieving a six-point road trip, several players reached significant career milestones.

Will Bruin became the first player in Dynamo history to score two goals and deliver two assists in a single game. The Dynamo have played over 300 games in all competitions in their history, and Bruin is the first to record two goals and two assists in a single game.

According to the Peter Hirdt of the Elias Sports Bureau, Bruin is the first MLS player to accomplish the feat since MLS all-time scoring leader Jeff Cunningham pulled it off in 1999.

Bruin has now scored nine goals in nine career games against D.C. United (including playoffs), including a hat trick in 2011, a two-goal performance last April, and another two-goal outing on Wednesday night.

It was also Bruin’s first two-assist game in his three-year career.

Bruin now has 25 career goals in all competitions.

Brian Ching assisted on Bruin’s second goal on Wednesday for his 30th career assist with the Dynamo in all competitions. Ching passed Brian Mullan for second on the franchise list. Brad Davis is the franchise leader with 91 assists.

Ching also surpassed Mullan to reach fourth place on the club’s all-time minutes list (14,740 in all competitions). Ching now trails Davis, Bobby Boswell and Pat Onstad on the minutes chart.

Wednesday was Corey Ashe’s 150th start with the Dynamo in all competitions. He is the seventh Dynamo player in club history to make 150 starts, joining Davis, Boswell, Onstad, Mullan, Ching, and Ricardo Clark.

Boniek Garcia set up Bruin's opening goal for his eighth career regular season assist with the Dynamo. He passed Eddie Robinson and Mike Chabala and is tied for tenth on the franchise list with Dominic Oduro.

Tally Hall reached 7,386 career regular season minutes to pass Richard Mulrooney for 12thon the franchise minutes list.

Rookie forward Jason Johnson made his regular season debut as a substitute on Wednesday.
