Corey Ashe has made his way off this week’s injury report, presented by Houston Methodist, and Eric Brunner and Andrew Driver have been upgraded to questionable for this Saturday’s match against Chivas USA (7:30 p.m. CT; TICKETS).
The trio was injured during the team’s recent road trip to Chicago and Columbus. Brunner has been nursing a right ankle sprain suffered against the Fire, while Ashe and Driver strained muscles against the Crew on Sept. 4.
Backup goalkeeper Tyler Deric has also recovered from a fractured thumb and will be available for head coach Dominic Kinnear both this weekend and for the CONCACAF Champions League match at BBVA Compass Stadium next Wednesday against W Connection (7 p.m.; TICKETS).
Calen Carr is listed as questionable and midfielder Brian Ownby is out for the contest after spraining his knee at the end of the Dynamo’s 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union last Saturday.
Chivas USA will be missing the services of Daniel Antunez, Caleb Calvert and Marco Delgado. Defender Jaime Frias is questionable with a right ankle sprain.
