Houston Methodist Injury Report - September 6

This past week's two-game road swing wasn't very kind to the Dynamo, neither in the results nor on the injury report, presented by Houston Methodist.

The Dynamo lost three players—Eric Brunner, Corey Ashe and Andrew Driver—during Sunday's draw against Chicago and the loss at Columbus on Wednesday.

Brunner, playing in place of Jermaine Taylor while he's on international duty, suffered a sprained ankle from Chris Rolfe's ill-advised tackle in Chicago.

Both Ashe and Driver were forced out of the midweek match against the Crew due to strained muscles—left hamstring for Ashe and right calf for Driver. The Dynamo will be forced to once again shuffle their lineup, as they will be without up to six players who have played more than 700 MLS minutes this year. Taylor and Boniek Garcia remain on international duty, and Ricardo Clark is questionable with an illness.

The New York Red Bulls will face losses of their own, as Designated Player Tim Cahill had to leave last week's match against D.C. United early, and will be out for Sunday's contest with a ligament tear in his right ankle. Defender Ibrahim Sekagya will also miss the match while serving a red card suspension.
