Four Houston Dynamo players saw action in international play on Friday night, but only DaMarcus Beasley came away smiling.

Adolfo Machado started and played 87 minutes for Panama, who lost 1-0 to Trinidad & Tobago as Kevin Molino scored against the run of play in the 37th minute. The Panamanians put the ball in the back of the net in the 76th minute, but it was called back for a tight offside whistle. Panama dropped to 1-1-1 (4 points) in the Hex, third behind Mexico and Costa Rica.

The United States throttled Honduras 6-0 in what was billed as a must-win for the Americans in San Jose, California. Beasley was on the bench for the U.S. but was not used. Alberth Elis and Romell Quioto started for Los Catrachos, while Boniek GarcĆa entered as a halftime sub.

The biggest negative on the night for the Dynamo came just before halftime, as Quioto went to ground hard from a challenge and had to be subbed off, going straight to the locker room with a reported dislocated right shoulder. The striker indicated after the match that he was in pain and that he wasn't sure if he'd be ready for Honduras' next match.

The U.S. win pushed them into fourth place in the Hex with a 1-2-0 record (3 points) and a +1 goal difference. Honduras, meanwhile, drops to the bottom of the standings with a similar 1-2-0 record (3 points) but a -5 goal difference.

Teams return to play on Tuesday, as the U.S. travels south to take on Panama (9 p.m. CT; beIN Sports, Telemundo) and Honduras hosts Costa Rica (4 p.m. CT; beIN Sports Connect, NBC Universo).
