The SuperLiga Appeals Committee has reviewed the ejection of Houston Dynamo forward Dominic Oduro from the July 21 match against Puebla FC and has determined that due to a case of mistaken identity, Oduro shall not be suspended from his next SuperLiga match, scheduled for August 5 against Morelia.
The Dynamo will face Morelia on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Robertson Stadium in one of two SuperLiga semifinals, Houston’s third SuperLiga semifinal in its third appearance in the tournament. Tickets are available at HoustonDynamo.com or by calling (713) 276-7500.
For the Dynamo, Danny Cruz (red card) and Joseph Ngwenya (yellow card accumulation) are suspended for Thursday’s match, which is the second of three games in nine days for Houston. The Dynamo will return to MLS action on Sunday, August 8, with a road game against the Seattle Sounders kicking off at 10 p.m. CT.
