• Was Houston's second consecutive positive result.
• Was Head Coach Wilmer Cabrera's 24th career victory in Major League Soccer.
• Was Cabrera's 15th regular-season win on the Dynamo sidelines.

TEAM NOTES:

• Houston tied a franchise record with five goals in the game. It was the fifth time in club history that the Dynamo scored five times, and the first since May 31, 2017 vs. Real Salt Lake, another 5-1 victory.
• Houston tied a franchise record with 11 shots on goal in the game. It was the fourth time in club history that the Dynamo put 11 shots on frame, and the first time since May 6, 2017 in a 4-1 win over Orlando City FC.
• With goals in the third and seventh minutes, it was the fastest that the Dynamo have scored two goals in a game since May 8, 2010 when the scored in the fourth and seventh minutes in a 2-0 win over Chivas USA at Robertson Stadium.
• The Dynamo have now scored at least two goals in four of their six games this season and in 17 of their 21 home games under head coach Wilmer Cabrera since the start of the 2017 season.
• The Dynamo have now scored at least three goals in 10 of their 21 home games under head coach Wilmer Cabrera since the start of the 2017 season.
• The Dynamo have now scored at least four goals in two of their four home games this year and in five of 21 home games since the start of the 2017 season.
• Both teams wore specially designed jerseys made out of recycled plastics removed from the ocean. The jerseys were manufactured by Parley For the Oceans, and the jerseys worn by Dynamo players were auctioned off for charity.
• The Dynamo used their sixth different starting lineup in six games this season. Head coach Wilmer Cabrera has used 38 different starting lineups in 40 games on the Dynamo sideline.
• Toronto had an apparent goal disallowed after referee Drew Fischer consulted with Video Review and deemed that Toronto forward Jordan Hamilton was in an offside position prior to heading a cross into the net.
• The Dynamo led at halftime for the third time this season. Houston is now 2-0-1 this season when leading at intermission.
• The Dynamo had the better of possession in the game, holding the ball for 54.5 percent of the contest. It marked the second time this season that Houston had more possession than their opponent, and the Dynamo improved to 1-1-0 in those contests.
• Houston outshot Toronto 20-17. It was the fifth time this season that the Dynamo outshot their opponents, and they improved to 2-2-1 in those games.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES:

• FW Romell Quioto scored his first goal of the season when he intercepted a pass in Toronto’s end of the field and dribbled into the penalty area and placed a low right-footed shot into the lower left corner of the goal. It was Quioto’s eighth goal for the Dynamo.
• Quioto recorded his first multi-assist performance in Major League Soccer.
• Quioto picked up his first assist of the season, and his fourth with the Dynamo, when he set up FW Mauro Manotas’ opening goal in the third minute.
• Quioto registered his second assist of the game when he crossed to FW Alberth Elis for a goal in the 60th minute.
• Quioto made his second start of the season and the 16th of his MLS career this afternoon.
• FW Mauro Manotas scored his 20th career goal in MLS regular-season play when he found the net in the third minute, making him the seventh Dynamo player to score at least 20 goals for the club.
• Manotas has now scored in back-to-back games for the third time in his career and the first time since the final game of 2017 and this year’s season opener.
• Manotas made his 40th career start and appeared in his 70th career game. He now has 20 goals in 40 starts in his career and four goals in six starts this season.
• DF Leonardo scored his fifth career goal and his third with the Dynamo when he fired home a right-footed shot from the top of the penalty area in the seventh minute.
• Leonardo made his 34th start with the Dynamo and his 113th career start this afternoon.
• MF Eric Alexander scored his first goal of the season, his first with the Dynamo, and the ninth of his career when he tapped home a loose ball in the 46th minute following a cross from FW Romell Quioto.
• Alexander started his 147th career game and made his 197th career appearance today.
• FW Alberth Elis scored his third goal of the season when he finished off a cross from FW Romell Quioto in the 60th minute. It was Elis’ 13th goal for the Dynamo.
• Elis led the team with six total shots in the game. It was the fourth time in six games that Elis has led the team in shots.
• Elis made his 32nd career appearance and his 24th start today.
• DF Alejandro Fuenmayor recorded his first assist in Major League Soccer when he intercepted a pass near midfield and played it to FW Romell Quioto, who finished the chance for Houston’s fifth goal.
• Fuenmayor made his third consecutive appearance and first as a substitute when he came on for DF Leonardo in the 75th minute.
• MF Arturo Alvarez made his 242nd career appearance and his fifth with the Dynamo when he came on for FW Mauro Manotas in the 69th minute.
• DF DaMarcus Beasley made his 89th start with the Dynamo, surpassing the total number of starts he made with the Chicago Fire (88) from 2000-04. Today was Beasley’s 91st appearance with the Dynamo.
• Beasley returned to the Starting XI after missing last week’s game due to his first MLS career red card on March 31 against New England.
• MF Darwin Cerén made his fifth start for the Dynamo and the 72nd start of his MLS career.
• MF Boniek García made his 144th career appearance when he came in for MF Tomás Martínez.
• DF Adolfo Machado made his 39th career start in MLS regular-season play this afternoon.
• MF Tomás Martínez made his 10th career start and played in his 14th MLS game today.
• DF Andrew Wenger started his 101st career MLS regular season game today and made his sixth consecutive start this season.
• Wenger started as a defender for the fifth time in his professional career and for the second consecutive game. The last time Wenger started in back-to-back games as defender was in the 2015 season when he played for the Philadelphia Union in October 3 and October 18.
• With today’s start at right back, Wenger has now started in three different positions this season.
• GK Joe Willis made his first start of the season and his 58th career MLS regular season start today.
• Willis recorded his 16th career win as a starting goalkeeper and his 10th with the Dynamo.
• Willis saved a penalty kick in the 91st minute. It was his second career penalty kick save in MLS regular-season play and his fourth in all MLS competitions. He last saved a penalty for the Dynamo on Nov. 21, 2017 for Houston against Seattle in the MLS Western Conference Championship series.
