Preview
Two surging Western Conference foes meet for the first time since Decision Day presented by AT&T when the LA Galaxy host the Houston Dynamo Friday night.
The Galaxy are coming off a 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Union on a pair of first-half goals by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who continues his white-hot start to his first full MLS season. Meanwhile, Alberth Elis and Tomas Martinez struck for the Dynamo in a 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes that extended their winning streak to four games.
The Dynamo stunned the Galaxy, 3-2, on the final day of the 2018 regular season, rallying from a two-goal deficit to win 3-2 and eliminate LA from Audi MLS Cup Playoff contention.
