The next episode of Dynamo 360 airs at 5 p.m. Saturday on KPRC Local 2. Dynamo 360 is a studio show dedicated exclusively to the Houston Dynamo, with interviews, features and game highlights.
Dynamo 360 is hosted by KPRC Local 2 Sports Director Randy McIlvoy and includes studio interviews Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear, forward Will Bruin and broadcaster Glenn Davis.
McIlvoy and Kinnear discuss the shot offseason, the club’s preseason trip to Tucson, Ariz., and the opportunity for Brad Davis, Tally Hall and Bruin to participate in the national team camp, Also, they discuss preparations for the March 2 season opener against D.C. United, now just 24 days away.
McIlvoy asks Bruin about his experience in the three-week January camp with the U.S. national team, which culminated in his first appearance for the national team in a friendly against Canada on Jan. 29.
The show includes a look at the club’s newcomers in 2013, including Omar Cummings, Eric Brunner and 2013 first round draft pick Jason Johnson.
The episode also includes a feature on the Dynamo Academy, and interviews with Alex Dixon, Tyler Deric and Dynamo Academy defender Louis Thomas.
Finally, the edition includes a report from last weekend’s Dynamo Girls tryouts, with interviews from hopefuls and a look at the cast of judges, including KPRC sports reporters Nick Giovanni and Gary Strieswki.
