The Rio Grande Valley FC Toros lost on the road 1-0 to Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Saturday night.
The RGV FC Toros hit the road on the search of their first goal and points in the season. The Toros started the game playing well and controlling the tempo of the game. RGV kept finding spaces in Tulsa’s defense but could not capitalize.
The Roughnecks found the back of the net in the 31st minute. Joey Calistri received the ball inside RGV’s box and shot through Borja Angoitia to give Tulsa the lead in the game. Ian Svantesson collected the assist for Tulsa.
