Houston Dynamo forward Will Bruin has D.C. United's number. In last week's 4-0 win over United, Bruin had a hand in all of his team's goals with two goals and two assists. So it's no surprise that Bruin was named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week 11.
The award is only the latest accolade for the third-year striker, who also took home MLS Player of the Week honors and was voted by the fans as a Top 3 performer for the midweek matches.
This was Bruin's first Team of the Week honor in 2013.
Although Bruin was the only Dynamo player to make the Team of the Week first team, midfieler Andrew Driver was named honorable mention for the second consecutive week. The versatile winger played 90 minutes in Wednesday's match against United and Sunday's match against Sporting KC and tallied the team's fourth goal in the midweek win at DC.
