HOUSTON (Aug., 9, 2024) - Houston Dynamo 2 forward Ifu Achara will join Ventura County FC on loan for the remainder of the season, both teams announced today.
Achara has appeared in 13 games for Houston Dynamo 2 this season and earned eight starts. The forward joined Houston Dynamo FC for the 2023 MLS regular season after being selected in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Draft in Nov. 2022. The forward suffered a season-ending injury last spring and missed the 2023 campaign.
Achara signed with Dynamo 2 in February and made his return to the field on March 17 against Sporting KC II. He earned his first start of the season on March 28 against Austin FC II.
