Alberth Elis has his first honor in Major League Soccer, taking home the Week 10 AT&T MLS Goal of the Week for his stepover and blast from the corner of the penalty area against Orlando City SC, the first goal of a 4-0 victory.
Elis took home 25% of the vote, narrowly edging out San Jose's Chris Wondolowski's 24%. Fellow Dynamo forward Romell Quioto finished with 17% of the vote after winning the award in Week 1.
The goal was Elis' fourth of the year, all coming in Houston at BBVA Compass Stadium, where he and the Dynamo will look to maintain their undefeated home record this Friday night against Vancouver Whitecaps FC (8 p.m. CT | TICKETS).
