On the heels of Wednesday's announcement that the 2026 FIFA World Cup will come to North America, you are probably wondering where the games will be played.
The United Bid included 23 cities as potential hosts for the 48-team tournament. That list will be pared down at a later date, with 16 cities from across Canada, Mexico and the United States chosen to host World Cup games.
And yes, Houston is one of the 23 cities still in contention.
