Houston Dynamo forward Mauro Manotas earned a spot on the MLS Team of the Week for Week 9, presented by Audi, after a 2-0 win over Columbus Crew SC on Saturday.
Manotas put the Dynamo ahead in the third minute by getting a toe on Alberth Elis' cross to sneak past the Crew SC defense. He then played in the cross in the 55th minute that was parried into the path of Tomás Martínez for the second goal of the evening. With the goal, Manotas has scored or assisted in 12 of Houston's last 14 games.
