Houston Dynamo forward Romell Quioto may be available sooner than initially expected after leaving Honduras' World Cup qualifier against the United States early.

Quioto crashed hard after a challenge just before halftime and immediately went to the locker room with a reported dislocated left shoulder, but Honduran newspaper Diez is reporting that Quioto will possibly be available for Los Catrachos' qualifier on Tuesday against Costa Rica (4 p.m. CT; beIN Sports Connect, NBC Universo).

Houston Chronicle beat reporter Corey Roepken talked with Dynamo vice president/general manager Matt Jordan, who said there are more tests to be done before an official diagnosis and timeline are in place.

Quioto, for his part, seems eager to get out on the field as soon as possible.
