Jimmy Maurer

Maurer joined the Dynamo in December 2024 after spending eight seasons with FC Dallas. He initially arrived in Dallas in 2017 on a one-week loan, before going on to make 75 appearances in all competitions during his time with the club. In 2024, the Lawrenceville, Georgia native featured in four regular season matches, recording two clean sheets and a season-high seven saves on the road versus the Portland Timbers. In addition to his on-field contributions, Maurer also assisted the FC Dallas front office as a Player Development Executive last season.

Maurer helped Dallas reach the postseason five times over his eight campaigns with the club, including the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs, where he recorded seven saves in his playoff debut versus the Portland Timbers and he helped the team advance to the Western Conference semifinals by saving a penalty in the shootout.
