Houston Dynamo 2 announce preseason schedule

Houston Dynamo 2 announced their preseason schedule ahead of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season set to kick off in March.

Dynamo 2 will kick off the month of February with a preseason friendly later today against Houston Christian University at 7 p.m. at Houston Sports Park.  Dynamo 2 will open a two-game road trip against Austin FC II on Feb 11 and closes the trip on Feb. 16 against FC Dallas.

Dynamo 2 returns to Houston two days later to host a pair of preseason games at Houston Sports Park. The first preseason match is scheduled for Feb. 18 against Southern Methodist University. Dynamo 2 will face two USL Championship sides to close the month of February beginning with a preseason match against the RGV FC Toros on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Houston Sports Park.

The last road trip of the preseason will be on March 4 against San Antonio FC, the reigning USL Championship monarchs, in the Mission City.

Houston will host two preseason friendlies prior to the start of the regular season. First, Dynamo 2 will host York United FC from the Canadian Premier League on Wednesday, March 8 at Houston Sports Park. The 2023 preseason slate will wrap up on March 18 against North Texas SC at AVEVA Stadium.
