Houston Dynamo forward Alberth Elis earned his place in the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 3 after playing a part in all three goals for a 3-2 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Elis set up Memo Rodriguez with two assists, plus earned and converted a penalty kick for his first goal of 2019 on Saturday afternoon. La Pantera couldn't be contained in a big breakout performance to close out a three-game homestand with seven points to start the MLS season. Fellow forward Memo Rodriguez earned a spot on the Team of the Week bench after his first career multi-goal outing in MLS.
