Houston Dynamo forward Alberth Elis landed on the MLS Team of the Week for Week 12, presented by Audi.
This is Elis’ third Team of the Week selection of 2018. The Honduran winger led the Dynamo to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Fire, scoring twice in the second half in a comeback effort on the road.
Elis first scored via a penalty kick in the 56th minute to tie things up at 2-2, then sprinted by the defense on a counterattack and beat the keeper for the game winner in the 74th minute. He led both teams with four shots, with two of them on goal and one hitting the post. He connected on 14 of 18 passes, and completed 4 of 6 dribble attempts.
