Alex set up Mauro Manotas' first goal of the night in the 4-0 win over Orlando City SC with a nifty outside-of-the-boot cross into the box, then delivered the long ball to Romell Quioto in the run-up to Manotas' second of the game. Manotas earned a spot on the bench in this week's team.
Manotas earned a starting spot in Goal.com's Team of the Week, along with defender A.J. DeLaGarza, who assisted Alberth Elis' goal as well as keeping a shutout on the defensive end.
