Dynamo forward Will Bruin was selected to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 16 after scoring three goals in two games against Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact.
In the mid-week game against Toronto, Bruin scored twice for his second multi-goal game of the year, and those goals were crucial for the Dynamo to get a point out of the match. While down 3-1, Geoff Cameron played a ball over the top to Brad Davis on the left flank, who then layed the ball off to Bruin to finish in the 73rd minute. Bruin then tied the game with a header in the 90th minute after Brian Ownby freed Cameron for a cross from the right side.
In the 4-2 loss at Montreal, Bruin slotted home a through ball in the box from strike partner Brian Ching for his ninth goal of the season, which ties him with Thierry Henry for third most in the league.
