Dynamo midfielder Brad Davis and defender Andre Hainault were named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 12. The pair were instrumental in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the LA Galaxy.
Davis provided a trademark in-swinging corner kick in the 57th minute to the near post, which Hainault headed across the goal and into the bottom corner. The goal, which broke the 1-1 tie, proved to be the game-winner. It is Hainault's second game-winning goal of the season after scoring in the second minute of stoppage time on March 11 against Chivas USA to secure a 1-0 win.
Hainault also helped stifle the Galaxy attack after an early goal, as he stepped in for the missing Geoff Cameron.
This is the second time being named to the Team of the Week for both players this season. The duo was honored after their performance on May 12 against DC United, when Hainault assisted on Davis' game-winning goal.
