Dynamo 2 return to league play and face a direct rival in MNUFC 2 for the fourth and final playoff spot in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference on Saturday at 6pm CT. Dynamo Academy alum Jathan Juarez scored the lone goal in the last meeting, a 1-0 victory for Dynamo 2 at AVEVA Stadium on July 24. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw on May 14 in the first meeting of the season and the Dynamo left with one point after the penalty shootout.

Including Saturday, three of the next four matches are against a direct opponent vying for the playoffs.
The team faces MNUFC 2 team that has earned nine points from their last five games. The team is led by Aziel Jackson who leads the league with 51 key passes and has scored eight goals this season. The forward has also tallied seven assists this season as Minnesota enters this game seven points behind Dynamo 2 for the final playoff spot.
Dynamo 2 return to AVEVA Stadium on Sept. 3 to host St. Louis CITY 2 and their final road trip of the regular season is scheduled for Sept. 11 against the Rapids. Dynamo 2 close the regular season at home against North Texas SC on Sept. 18.
