Dynamo Charities has announced that Infinity Insurance will serve as the title sponsor for the Dynamo’s Go for Goal 5K Run and Dynamo Diesel’s Kids Fun Run, to be held July 24 at Hermann Square.

The Dynamo Charities Go for Goal 5K and Dynamo Diesel’s Kids Fun Run will kick off a week of activities culminating in the 2010 AT&T MLS All-Star Game on July 28 at Reliant Stadium. Proceeds from the 5K and Fun Run will go toward the Recipe for Success Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to battling childhood obesity.

“The statistics on overweight children in the United States are overwhelming,” said Dynamo Charities Director Lori Stutt. “Some 30 percent of all children are at risk for obesity, and in Texas that percentage is 50 percent. We are proud to partner with Infinity Insurance to bring awareness and education to our community on this important cause.”
