Houston Dynamo midfielder Tomás Martínez earned himself a spot on the MLS Team of the Week for Week 15, presented by Audi.
Martínez opened the scoring for the Dynamo against the Colorado Rapids in the 30th minute, megging and dancing past defenders as he approached the goal. His initial shot was saved by Tim Howard, but the rebound fell into his path for him to score his fourth goal of the season.
The Argentine playmaker completed 65 of 73 passes and created two chances as the Dynamo had one of their most dominant wins in team history, recording team highs in passes attempted, completed, and possession percentage (since 2010, the earliest year that Opta Sports Data tracks MLS statistics).
