Dynamo 2 notched their fourth goal of the match in the 74th minute with a standout finish from forward Exon Arzú. The attacker received the ball from the right flank and created space for a curling shot just outside the box that found the top right corner.

Ten minutes later, Gardner netted Houston’s fifth and last goal of the night, capitalizing on a mistake from the North Texas’ backline with a chip over the visiting goalkeeper.

The Dynamo had their first dangerous chance in the 38th minute when forward Andy Batioja forced a diving save from goalkeeper JT Harms after the Colombian attacker got passed the North Texas defender with a quick chop move.

Gonzalez almost scored his second of the night in the 60th minute after stepping up for another free kick and forcing the North Texas’ keeper to make a high diving save.

Correa fired a shot in the 61st minute from the top of the box that forced the visiting goalkeeper to get low and secure the ball.

Goalkeeper Pedro Cruz was called into action 65th minute after Sam Sarver forced the Brazilian goalkeeper to get high and block the shot away.
