HOUSTON (March 25, 2025) – Houston Dynamo 2 open a two-match week with their first road trip of the season, traveling to face Ventura County FC on Wednesday, March 26 at William Roland Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CT. Dynamo 2 fans can tune in to the live action on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Dynamo Dos hope to keep momentum rolling on Wednesday after closing their two-game season-opening homestand with a 5-1 victory versus in-state rivals North Texas SC this past Sunday evening. Midfielder and Dynamo 2 captain Diego Gonzalez and 15-year-old Lukas Bruegmann finished the match with a goal and assist each. Midfielder Enrique Correa and forward Myles Gardner notched their first professional goals, while forward Exon Arzú scored his first goal of the MLS NEXT Pro season with a top right corner finish.

Notably, the win marked only the second time in Dynamo 2 history that the team scored five goals, as well as the team’s largest victory since last season versus North Texas, when Dos defeated the FC Dallas affiliate 4-0.

Sunday also saw four more Dynamo Academy players make their professional debuts in Correa, forward Faraji Ramani, defender Omar Flores and forward Sebastiao Nzita, who became the third-youngest player to debut in MLS NEXT Pro history at just 14 years, five months and 13 days. Additionally, midfielder Noah Betancourt and defender Gavin Wolff earned their first starts with Dynamo 2.

Forward Andy Batioja and Gonzalez were called up to the first team on short-term loans for Saturday’s road match versus Seattle Sounders FC. The call ups marked Gonzalez’s second of the season and Batioja’s first.

Ventura County, LA Galaxy’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate, heads into the midweek match after earning 7-0 victory in the first round of the Lamar Hunt 2025 U.S. Open Cup. In their most recent regular season action, Ventura County fell 3-1 on the road to LAFC 2 in the SoCal derby, with Aaron Bibout scoring Ventura’s lone goal at Titan Stadium. They currently sit eighth on the Western Conference Standings with three points through two matches.

Wednesday’s fixture will mark the fifth meeting between both sides and the only matchup this regular season. Both teams matched up twice in 2024, with Houston drawing 1-1 in Southern California on July 5 and drawing 2-2 at SaberCats Stadium behind a brace from Gonzalez.

Dynamo 2 return to Houston on Sunday, March 30 to host Minnesota United FC 2 at Shell Energy Stadium. Fans can claim free tickets for all Dynamo Dos matches HERE.
